Nightmare Infestations…

June 18, 2010 Leave a comment

My skin has been crawling for a month. My latest project at work involves discovering the worst and most distressing infestations found in peoples’ homes for a natural history documentary. And I have come across some awful awful stories. Maggots, roaches, raccoons, termites, ants, bees, bats, spiders…. they all make their way into the same place you eat, sleep, and watch tv. Sometimes I am thankful I live in the UK. Our weather is awful, but we seem not to attract scorpion, snake, or killer bee infestations. God bless cloud cover!

Incidentally, if anyone had or knows of any infestation that brought them to the brink of tears or kept them up at night,  I would love to hear it! I think I’m going to need counselling at the end of this production…
